There’s a lot to think about here.

But yes, it seems as if the people who promote alarmism above everything else do have a hold on people’s emotions. People may want the truth but for many with families and lives to live, they don’t have the time to dig into an opaque field.

Explaining things simply and clearly on how they impact people’s everyday lives perhaps where the best chance of gaining some ground is. But there’s the rub: it’s a complex field.

The ideas you raise are extremely important and, it’ll take some time to think on.

Richard,

I share your concerns for "Truth" and government policies and policymakers. Here are my thoughts and concerns. On TV last night I saw that Biden has about 40% support. My own (admittedly unscientific, but I think real) estimate of energy savvy public is about 3%. That is, in my experience of talking before Rotary Clubs, Colleges and groups of civic minded citizens, about 3% understand energy and electricity generation. The 97% of non-energy savvy voters are guided by Social Issues and perceptions. But the real issues that could destroy our country are only discussed by you, LinkedIn and our circle of friends. As we watch, America is being self sabotaged. Some of it, I think, is intentional by foreign funding of high placed politicians. They get elected based on Political ads and influence of voters. A great deal of the $Billions of funding for Democrat candidates comes from sources that are not in the best interests of the U.S.A.. My research has led me to Planned Parenthood, Environmental NGO's, wealthy Billionaires with perhaps narrow personal interests and some Dark money, some documented from foreign unfriendly sources. The recently published book, "Blood Money" by Peter Schweitzer follows up on ties to China by many politicians. Impeccably researched and with named sources. His previous books , "Red Handed", Profiles in Corruption" and "Secret Empires" detail funding of many anti-American paths of illicit money. Another source is "Capital Research Center". I have hundreds of links to news items that I would be glad to share. Short answer to your suggestion on collaboration, Yes. You have a very good idea. As for me, I do not have great writing skills, but I do have a lot of experience and a ton of references that are very concerning. Thank you for your suggestion.

We just had Tom Nelson on the Energy Realities podcast -- we're doing what we can to promote the movie and the facts it exposes. Alas, means are limited for everyone but we do what we can. Soldier on!
